It is a new service which allows you to record video messages to the people who are important in your life. Unless you want them to, they won't see the message until after you have died. So you can help them to cope with the grief of your passing by reminding them of happy times together, shared experiences and important landmarks in your life. You can also leave a record of important information and instructions about how your family should deal with your funeral and other matters.


We would all like to live forever, but the sad fact is that we won't; and for a great many of the end is sudden and unexpected. By joining SilverChord today you can be sure that whenever your time comes, your loved ones will receive a message that will ease their pain and be a treasured link to your memory.


After you join SilverChord you will be able to create a secure file which will allow you to upload messages and documents and set out your wishes in regard to certain personal matters. At regular intervals you will receive an email asking you to to validate your account. If we don't receive a reply we will resend the request twice and attempt to contact you using other information you have provided. If we are still unsuccessful we will then send a search enquiry to your nominated recipients saying that we are trying to reach you because we have some important information. If we learn that you have passed away, we will then implement our notification protocol which will let your loved ones know that you have left a message for them.


Of course we encourage you to take a print of your enrollment notice and place it with your personal papers, but even if you don't, we will ensure that your message gets through sensitively and positively.
